I loved dead space 1 and 2. I beat them multiple times and also beat both of them on the hardest difficulty. On the other hand this game I couldn't even get passed the 1st half of it. Its a shame.

numbers can be a confusing thing, some of my favorite games of all time I personally rank as a bit low because even though they have problems, there are elements, features etc. that I really love and I just keep coming back for more and to me that's what makes a game truly great

The game DOES explain why Ellie's eye is back, just not through a cut scene. It's in a text log in the first chapter.

i hope you give it a chance because while it's not as scary as the first it still has the feel of it that we love about it. EA may have slipped om dragon age 2 & ME3 but there are so many they have done well on.

There are some ideas for new kinds of horror, but the content usually becomes too extreme where companies will either go for an A-rated game or sweeten it up to get atleast M-rated similar to Manhunt 2.

On the other hand, if all you care about is the action then by all means, jump right into part 3. Every gamer is different and there is nothing wrong with that. It all depends on how/why you play the game.

I'm pretty sure that Free to play is the way of the future in gaming and I don't have a problem with that. It's just when a publisher tries to add micro-transactions to a full retail game that I have a problem with.

Black Ops 2 had a good story, and had new things added to it unlike the other Call of Duty games. I agree with BO2 getting 9.3, but i dont think the game should have gotten a 7.8 maybe like an 8.5(but ive never played the game so im just shooting into the dark). But majority of people are going to keep playing cod for countless hours because of its fun arcade combat unlike DS3 where its just some singleplayer over and over.
My point is, people need to stop hating CoD so much, it isnt THAT bad..

This is what you can call: a good review. Honest and totally true.

Guys stop hating on this game! Have you actually played it? It's really, really fun and good. If you're a fan of the Dead Space series the only thing that'll bother you will be the fact that it's less scary. Otherwise: Story is still awesome, i had to cry at the end. Gameplay is epic, just like part 1 and 2.
Isaac Clarke, best character of gaming... they showed this again in Dead Space 3.

I agree, but surely it would be better to get 10 bundles for a Euro each, and then give them to his friends... Charity still gets the same amount of money, and even more people get to play the games.

If you have played DS1 & DS2 then you'll know that the gameplay of dead space is mechanically sound. DS3 had zero flaws, gameplay wise. The DLC gun is absolutely worth getting. You will kick ass !!! Even the monster that regenerates his limbs stands no chance! You will be unstoppable and completely fearless with the gun! On Hard that is. On IMPOSSIBLE - that's a different story - one has to be a DS veteran and beat DS3 at least once before attempting it. Get the game when you can !!

you know 3 games are coming out in horror genre in this month . A point up or down what you as consumer may choose. people who say well score does not matter don't know the difference between activision and THQ

What sort of gpu does this game require, is a GTX575 enough?

Not sure what this guy was expecting or if he really played the previous Dead Space games, but other than the "eye" comment, he's got it wrong about this game. Dead Space does everything right about video games. It's not just some interactive movie, it's a video game with tight controls, extreme thrills, believable dialog, and so much more. It's a frickin sci-fi thriller game and he talks about it like it should have been a drama that was close to a Grammy.

I've only played the demo and in my opinion its decent and that was playing it with a friend. From what I've seen from reviews and gameplay bits is that the game has lost a bit of erieness and focused more on the action element.
