As a Vadrik player, i can confirm the threat level of this deck. It's not hard at all win with 3 reduction and 3 mana. You just pop off and no one can stop you! I highly recommend commander's plate

Can confirm. My vadrick deck just plays solitaire once he gets to 4 power and I have a draw spell.

Haze of rage absolutely pops off in my vadrik list, being a free red mana sink to get a massive reduction. It also goes infinite with storm-kiln artist. That list also has quite a few infinite combos with reiterate, because as it turns out, giving buyback spells a big cost reduction is pretty strong.

I built my commander deck around him. 🙃 He is all kinds of not okay. Your board could be just him, and that's enough for you to just win outright, the turn after you cast him.

Vadrik is my favorite commander. It’s hard to make vadrik anything below a 7. Any effort at all and he’s an 8. Plus he makes the wildest combos possible with buyback spells

One of my friends has a budget vadrick deck, we are talking less than 60 bucks total, and it is super strong. Id be super afraid to see what a no budget, highly optimized build would be like.

I really love the Big Spell Ramp archetype wotc has pivoted into in U/R. Honorable mention for Magnus the Red who is Vadrick if he had flying and doesn't have to wait for his discount just by building a deck that plays to his strengths

Vadrik is also a relatively inexpensive deck to build! You can build a really powerful vadrik deck for about 150 USD.

I got this dude in my Arena Izzit deck, with zero ways to buff him other than that day/night cycle which hardly ever comes up. That said its a damn good removal magnet that lets stuff I actually care about live, and for only 3 mana!

Thats why heros blade is amazing as well as font of magic so even when they do kill him youre still getting an increasing reduction

Even without a combo to go infinite my Vadrik deck can slap. With just 2 counters most of my spells are 1-2 mana. But if you let me get Storm-kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Thousand-Year Storm on the field I can get infinite mana, draw my whole deck, and stack spells for mass copies of damage spells.
