Slight correction in the video, mechanics hasn't been changed (yet)

Guards will still see you as standing since in the end, it's just animation modification.

Still, the fact that this is possible just opens the game up to so much more. The only way it could be better is if the removed minigames and side content could be restored. Imagine the floodgates that will ensue when that happens

This is a huge achievement for the game. Vanilla master collection might not be that great but with all the mods that we have now I can safely say that the steam version is the best version of it.

I hope this makes SaveMGO2 more popular for a while.

It's amazing how the actual developers of this game did not think to add the crouch walk and the 3rd person aiming in this Master Collection release, and thankfully modders are doing a solid to the MGS community.

Like this should have been a patch added since the MGS HD Collection. Ridiculous they don't give the option to play it with these new features.

I had played the 3DS version of MGS3, it had custom camos if you took a picture of anything, and boom you have your custom camo I wonder if someone will mod that in.

Love your videos, I was very excited to play them natively on pc with the master collection. Of course, the release was largely disappointing but these videos showing the mods fixing the games makes me very optimistic for the future.

Your tutorial really helped me out. Modding games is easy once you figure out what to do.

About making the game easier: the same argument can be made for the 3DS version of the game. This mod simply adds a feature that's already present in another official version of the same game. It really is an expanded UX mod.

Apart from this whole, , Meeeh, I don´t like what they have done to this collection-bogus, , THIS is exactly what I have expected! It´s so awesome to see all those incredible Mods coming out for MGS 2 & 3. It´s only a matter of time untill some dedicated team developes a overhaul for thos two titles. Cool MOD! =))

Has anyone been trying to make any character skin mods? Would love to play as one of the cobra unit or as Ocelot in replacement of Snake.

Can you do an unlimited rpg mod. And blown up the shagohod during the runway scene. I wonder whats happen if you drop the health before the boss battle

Tbh is mod is great, just wish it worked the same way in the 3DS version. Hopefully it gets updated to that in the future!

Also, would love to see some mods for mgs2. 3d camera, or maybe even crouch walk as well would be dope!

I knew modders would fix the master collection. I might actually consider buying it now, I just hate Konami. Until they can prove their remakes are good, until they bring us another quality MGS title, or until they offer Kojima SOME kind of opportunity to finish Act 3 of MGSV, then I'm hesitant to give them my money. Heck, even if they can give us a somewhat half-optimized port of MGS4 in Vol2 that isn't trash, that will at least earn some of my respect back to where I'll probably buy Vol 1, but as Vol1 stands now without mods, it's not worth it. The Steam version seems to the best version of Vol1 now simply because of the work done by the modders so if I buy any version it'll be that one.
