Hunting For Chaga In The Woods | What Is Chaga? 1/2

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to another episode here at maple monkey media, I am glad you could take some time out of your day to stop by and check out todays episode. Today I am getting on the hunt for what some would say to be a super food, that superfoods name is Chaga. Ive known about Chaga for al little bit now through @myselfreliance and his drinking Chaga Tea everyday.

It just is happened to be my luck that I was doing some work behind the cabin moving some trees and brush around when out of the corner of my eye I had seen a fallen birch tree which looked like it had some black node on the side of it. I thought to myself “No way that’s Chaga” because earlier while hiking and looking for some I hadn’t seen any, but lone behold it definitely was Chaga after closer inspection of it.

I was thrilled and thought this is going to be perfect for me to document my experience with taste tasting Chaga for the first time while at the same time providing some useful information to some one who might be keen to read up on this awesome fungi.
