Thing is, the current Apple TV is super powerful and is by far the best streaming device. Apple don't need to update the hardware, but perhaps make some tweaks and changes with the OS. Maybe reduce the price of the current Apple TV, so it becomes more competitive, compared to the others.

You are saying (Loewe) correct. I miss that brand being imported in the US it's the RR of tv's, no question! the picture was next level in it's day compared to ANYTHING, couldn't imagine what it's like today but sadly It will never come here.

0:42 Apple is said to not be announcing any hardware at WWDC this year (which is different from recent years but not unusual), instead focusing on software exclusively. There are apparently major changes coming to iOS/iPadOS and macOS, so I suppose Apple wants the focus to be on that.

It would be cool to have a new ATV4K becuase who doesnt love new stuff? But in my opinion, being heavily in the apple ecosystem, I feel like its perfect for my needs already. I originally got the ATV to disconnect my s90c from the internet to avoid unwanted firmware updates, and possibly get a better user interface and It ended up helping picture and surround sound quality too. My OLED and ATV together is just *chefs kiss*

Beautiful televisions, both image / sound quality and aesthetic were outstanding.

So happy to see they’re still in the game and utilizing the most up to date tech. I would have gone with a QD OLED panel but that’s nitpicking 😊

Totally agree, I don’t think Apple is maxing out its current 4k box. I’m on a 2nd gen 4k device and I just don’t feel like I need a new one yet. I’m sure Apple will come up with some must have feature though.

I have two Apple Tvs, 4k first gen and HD (I bought it used). Both work amazingly. They are already too powerful for what they do, no need to upgrade for a long time. The previous Apple TV Gen 2 I used until Apple stopped supporting it. Which is a shame because that one also worked great.

Thank you for this video. Along the lines suggested, I would like the new Apple TV 4K (Pro) to have H2 chip for lossless audio for AirPod Pro 2 e future AirPods Max 2 and an HDMI passthrough port so that I can also connect a PS5 / Blueray player and suck the audio from there and use Apple headphones. Would be the perfect answer to Sonos Ace and also for a push of Homepods

I don't even know what a new Apple TV would do. The previous ones up until the last one or two filled obvious needs: 2nd gen was a reset, 3rd gen brought 1080p, 4th brought the new UI/UX, 5th brought 4K and HDR. 6th and particularly the 7th didn't really do anything much more than HDR10+ and HFR support (and making ethernet exclusive to the higher tier).

The current Apple TV doesn't really need an upgrade to the hardware except maybe for a less clicky remote. The software could use some tweeks or at least allow more customization by the user.
