Back then the Church would risk losing an entire nation (ex: Henry VIII) now in a free country where nobody would really care, or it would wake up the sleepy Catholics and reinforce the pious Catholics it’s crickets….

study the History of the Popes their mistresses, wives and children .. maybe read up on the Inquisition .. the holy wars ..

then read the ACTUAL teachings of Christ *hint* (HE NEVER MENTIONED ABORTION BUT SPENT ALOT TIMES WITH SINNERS)
