The new VEGAS PRO 21 feature called Z-Depth uses ai to automatically detect video depth and allows you to add any videos, pictures or text behind objects closest to the camera. Vegas Pro 21 now has z-depth video effect where you can automatically detect the depth of your video with ai and magix have also made this effect easy to use in Vegas Pro 21.

Pretty cool, trying to step up my game a bit

this is really good for static images and very slow moving objects that have a lot of detail, I've tried it on a video of a man moving in a 360 motion and it didn't work out as planned. it had a hard time trying to figure out what the head was and getting the full body to work as a whole. I also tried masking out the man in the video to see if there was any improvements, it kinda help it out but it was the same outcome

So can you take a person walking in a video mask that person and put them walking in another location? Or is this all for still shots?

Its better to have a loading bar while the ai figuring it out, cause if you click anywhere boom vegas do his old good trick ( crashing )
