For the last one I also got 2 but I did it differently, I found out that 54 goes into 2 twice for root 108 i then further split root 54 into root 9 and root 6 so i got root 9x6x2, the nine can be rooted into a 3 which leaves us with 6x2 which is 12 so i got 2 root 12,


For minus 1 root 48, i split the root into 12x4 and as root 4 is 2 i got minus 2 root 12


3 root 12 minus 2 root 12 is just root 12 over 3


I then divided root 12 by root 3 and I got root 4


root 4 is just 2 which was your answer.

What am I looking at when I see 3/200 Just trying to figure out the 3 and how its used? Can you explain the problem with just /200 then I may be able to work out the 3/200? Thanks Jack?

Whats a quick method of working out what goes into 108? I never would have got to 36? If 36 goes into 108 3 times then is 3 the lowest common multiple and 36 the HCF? Is that what I'm trying to find here? Thanks again Jack!
