This happened to a woman I used to work for but on a much smaller scale. She wanted a Hermes belt so bad that she finally gave in and was ready to dish out the $1000 when she went to the Hermes store the SA asked her if she'd shopped there before. When she said no she was told she needed to get on a waiting list. When she asked why and that she thought that it was only for the Birkin bag the SA replied " Do you want the belt or not?" 😂
