To this day, Mario’s idea of vacation clothes being the exact same outfit with short sleeves is one of my favorite things in the franchise.

My absolute favorite part of this animation is that throughout, Cas somehow perfectly captures the minor acceleration and deceleration to Mario's movement that's characteristic of SM64. The way he walks on the dune is similarly accurate, and it's the kind of detail most people wouldn't think to include.

I just love everything about these two shorts. The jokes, the visuals, the references, and the accuracy to these two Mario games and the players' experiences to them are just so good.

Everything about this is perfect. The pixilation effect on the drawings, the slipperiness of Mario’s animation, that darn hill in the desert level that always makes me slide off the edge. Every detail is spot on

I would love to see a Super Mario Galaxy one with the same concept, showing a trope or funny gag from each galaxy. However, there are 42 of them, so it could take some time. Definitely would have to point out Gold Leaf being a mirrored version of Honey Hive Galaxy. The possibilities are endless!!!

Cas is like terminalmontage but leaning more on visual jokes than references to the source material (except for the minecraft animations which are 100% accurate)
obviously they're a fan of mario but i'm really exited for if the team ever makes a kirby video
