I hate customer service, customer support etc...I feel what Veronica is saying about stupid, annoying people. I did this for WAYYYY!!! to many years. I am retired now, I don't every want to to talk to another person for the rest of my life.

The machine that usually answers the phone should advise the customer to have the information available before proceedings. Veronica is correct this individual now has made everyone in line wait. Folks be prepared. People who process any kind of claim need to know who you are to them. Your case number, account number, anything that identifies you as an individual in the system.

Friend out of school compiled all his ID and documents copies to send for job application. I had to educate him on this stupid mistake.

Needless and time+wasting berating, but the lesson in limiting release of personal information was helpful. Should have included: "Unfortunately, a lot of places use your social number as more or less a password to access your private information. Give this number out as little as possible."

Veronica certainly wastes a lot of time berating the customer, who may not even have access to her account number. She should be trying to help the customer instead of being rude! It’s a good thing that it’s her last day, because she deserves to be fired!
