Biden Says US Inflation Easing: 'My Policies Are Working'

President Joe Biden on Wednesday addressed the latest inflation numbers that came out, saying they are evidence his "policies are working."

"I told you we were gonna have a soft landing. We're going to have a soft landing. My policies are working. Start writing that way, ok?" Biden told the press gathered in the room.

Year-over-year inflation reached its lowest level in more than three years in July, the latest sign that the worst price spike in four decades is fading and setting up the Federal Reserve for an interest rate cut in September.
