AUTUMN IN LAPLAND - 4K timelapse compilation
Показать описание
It is finally here! After countless sleepless nights since the end of August, I have been recording the beauty of Fall in Lapland in timelapse. I traveled to Finland, Sweden and Norway to get some of my most accomplished northern lights scenes yet.
It is also the most timelapse sequences I have gotten in a bit more than a month (about 170), representing about 40 minutes of film (total), 643 Gb of data total, and around 150 000 pictures used for this film. I was really hard at work to bring out some neat details in focus, like yellowing birch trees, mushroom and even tint ice crystal forming. I also wanted to focus on Fall's best feature in Lapland: still water reflection.
It is a time of the year where you can 'easily' access all the lakes, which are not yet covered in snow or frost.
As night photography is my specialty, I included very few daytime clips and the majority if the clips are taken at night, featuring the beautiful aurora borealis in all its spectrum, the milky way, the moon, and even some late-season noctilucent clouds!
I decided on a longer format (10 minutes) with three different soundtrack, as it is always a way for me to show off my archives to production companies that seek to license them for their projects.
I hope you like the video and appreciate the amount of work, knowledge, dedication and skills that went into it.
I hope you enjoy this short video anyways.
