From August 4th-5th 2022, Bengaluru received heavy rainfall. The Silicon Valley of India, faced flooding on its most busy road and prominent hub of IT/Electronics companies - Outer Ring Road (ORR).
The most obvious reason is the road and adjacent campuses and apartments are built on or very near to the lakes.
It is possible that water flow for entire area is blocked by all this construction without considering the lake and topography of the area.
