The Vikings offensive line is the last major concern that is still in need of improvements. With the NFL Draft quickly approaching, this is what I believe to be the best way to fix this problem that is all too common.

If the Vikings could add Brown this alone would remedy the Vikings OL problems because they would only have to draft a starting caliber guard and that could be had in the 3rd round. Getting Brown would not be a problem, I'm sure a deal could be made that would benefit both teams but the Vikings would still have to pay him and that is where the dream dies. The Vikings have no money and on top of that they have players like Hunter and O Neil along with others they have to extend and it will take some maneuvering of funds to even make that happen. I could go on but I think you get the point, Brown is not going to happen. The remedy to cure this OL will only be found in the draft and in my opinion it is very possible. It could happen 2 (two) ways. 1. Darrisaw LT at 14, he would be an instant starter at LT and be an improvement both economically and talent wise from last season and moving forward. If he is there at 14 the Vikings should run to the podium and thank there lucky stars for this blessing and then pick Green OG at pick 90 or 119, Green is tailor made for this scheme IMO he is the best zone blocking G in the draft and that will probably push him down into the 3rd or 4th round but I'm sure the Viking won't mind if that happens. Lastly, the Vikings must draft a developmental OG in the later rounds there will be many to choose from I like Moore. 2. If Darrisaw is gone the Vikings could try to trade down and pick up more picks and get AVT OL. The Vikings must be careful here and not trade down too far I am thinking pick 19 would be the farthest they could trade down and get AVT OL. If Darrisaw is gone and they can't trade down AVT OL should still be the pick at 14 it is a reach but what can you do? That's what happens when the GM has been incompetent when evaluating OL talent in the past. Then pick Green OG at 90 or 119 for reasons I mentioned before. Lastly, the Vikings must draft a developmental OT in the later rounds there will many to choose from I like Hudson. This scenario would move Cleveland to LT and the middle of the OL will be manned by rookies, the irony here is it is still an improvement. Well that's my take, let's talk.... SKOL!!!

Rick S doesn't do OL. Yeah, I like Brown and 1-2 others from the draft! Brady Christiansen and one other plus Brown.

Where are you getting the money for Brown? He's going to command $18 Million per year with his next contract.

Would love Orlando Brown, but you are ignoring the asking price Baltimore has asked for. They have asked for and not fallen back from a 1st round pick for him. Vera-Tucker will go in the top 15.

What I think would be way cool is the Vikings draft another Receiver and a future Mobile QB behind Kirk Cousins who can add pressure and if needed replace the old expensive QB who might not make the Superbowl anyways😏
