Both the cutscene and fighting animations are done by animators. Devs did a good job, yes, but they did not create the model animations! That's either a separate or the same group of animators!

I love how cutscenes are done with real ingame animations. A lot of games do cutscenes that have nothing to do with the game. Looking at you MMOs.
