Nyas food rava lado/ sooji ladoo, this ladoo is most often made in all homes for festivals and other occasions as it is very easy and simple to make and very yummy. Only thing is light effort must be given while rolling ladoo. In this recipe I made ladoo by adding dry coconut, sugar and milk. Adding dry coconut enhances the taste very well so add it compulsary .
Ingredients.
Rava 1 cup
Dry Coconut 1/2 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Cardamom powder 1/2 Tsp
Ghee 4 tbsp
Cashew 6
Raisins 10
Milk 2-3tbsp
Note.
1. Roast the rava in ghee for 5 min in low flame.
2. Use dry coconut and roast for 3 min. If you are adding fresh coconut means, roast separately in ghee and then add to rava.
3. I used whole sugar u can use powdered sugar also. One thing is powdered sugar will make ladoo harder after one day
4. I used milk as binding agent. Just 2-3 tbsp u can adjust to your need.
5. This ladoo can be kept only for 3 days as we added milk to it.
6. U can skip milk by adding hot ghee as a alternate. This will increase the life of ladoo.
7. U must give firm force while making ladoo to get shape.
8. If you are not getting shape add milk gradually not more than 2-3 tbsp. That too first try to hold shape then add to your need.
