Flash freeze after rain, snow expected to impact travel

An Arctic freeze following precipitation is expected to leave travelers in the U.S. scrambling. Some regions will also see wind chills as low as -70 degrees. The Weather Channel's Chris Warren has the forecast.

Idaho is going to be -6 for a high... It's Krazy that it's this cold for the month of December but tomorrow it's going back up to 30-40s on high... Usually it gets in the negatives on end of January beginning February....

PANIC! DEEP FREEZE! IT IS THE END OF LIEF AS WE KNOW IT! Yea, went through this last winter a few dozen times, the year before that also. I am also sure a few more times this year. Do your basic precautions as always.
