i remember seeing Earl do that trick with the tuner on an old video from the grand ole oprey or something. crazy next level stuff! must take some finnesse to keep it in tune. great video

thank you.  I put the videos in half speed and then build up from it, then tabs from the Scruggs book.   After couple of years of trying finally I'm figuring out the bluegrass feeling.
