Hey meaty! The other night on your stream I was guessing you forgot your camp stove. Found out it was your entire kitchen pretty much. I have a solution...put a roll of aluminum foil in your go bag. You could have cooked the steak and steamed the vegetables at the same time! 😀 I know it's not optimal, but we used to make meals like that all the time when I was in the boy scouts many moons ago. I like you kept a positive spin on everything, like you always do! 22!

Oh Chris you big goober 🤣 At least you have an excuse to go through all your gear and reorganize it all haha. Oh and I think that stew had cornstarch added as a thickener and that's what you saw on the spoon. If there's too much of it or you don't have enough water for it to get absorbed, then it'll leave a nasty aftertaste.

Lol, I’ve done a similar. Took the grill to make hamburgers off-roading and I forgot the bag with all of the utensils including the spatula. I decided to use the front license plate off the vehicle as a spatula. Lunch was served.

When you mentioned the clouds it reminded me of a song called Little Fluffy Clouds by The Orb. I use checklists, must do lists, weekly menus and labels, yeah Im crazy ;) I think its good when people learn a few lessons, keeps you on your toes. some redundancy is needed and gear and gear trinkets are my thing. thank you for the video.

Should’ve cut the steak into thin slices chopped the vegetables. Could’ve made a stew and boiled it in the jet boiler. 🍲 Or maybe seer the thin sliced steak on the jet boiler without water then used the fond for flavor.

Any freeze dried backpacking meal meant to save weight usually tastes like crap. MRE's are designed to taste better but they weigh more because of it

Well now that you have forgotten your kitchen supplies this trip; you’ll want to rethink your “just in case” bags you keep in the cars. Keep a small/medium pan and utensils in the bags.
