Moire Patterns - Rotating Radials

preview_player
Показать описание
This Moiré pattern is generated by moving radial lines. The shape of the dark areas of the Moiré pattern when the centers of two grids are close (but not too close) resembles a family of circles which radii go from 0 to infinity. A circle with infinite radius is a line.

It is suggested to view the animation in HD and in full-screen mode, otherwise additional Moiré and antialias artifacts may appear.

I think the universal theory of everything will be found related to the concepts of moiré patterns. With radials representing radiating energy of the wavefunction, we will ultimately discover that ZPS ( zero point space ) is the center point from which all forms flow.

I love moiré patterns.

I was wondering what a radial pattern looks like on top of a hex lattice. The hex lattice of graphene creates virtual particles that expand and contract upon rotation of one of the layers. I noticed in the radial pattern, a wavefront looks to be moving in one direction. It would be neat to tune the bilayer graphene for superconductivity and then rotate the third layer of a radial pattern which I wonder if it would move the virtual particles like the pattern in this video. I wonder if Moire patterned metamaterials will give us revolutionary tech.
