Warning of Russian invasion of Ukraine stokes fears

The US and Russia have held what they say are frank talks as they try to resolve their standoff on Ukraine.
But the discussions have failed to find a breakthrough.
For many Ukrainians, the build-up of Russian troops at the border has echoes of 2014, when war came to the east.

I know that it is difficult at the moment but your reporters need to go to cities apart from Kyiv. Ukraine's second largest city, Kharkiv, is almost on the border with Russia and has a significant ethnic Russian population. Mariupol is close to the rebel held areas and likely to have different views from both Kyiv and Kharkiv. Significant differences of opinion are likely in Western Ukraine cities like Lviv and Rivne due to high Ukrainian ethnicity and non-Russian history prior to World War Two.
