10-storey residential building in China constructed in a day

A real estate developer in central China’s Hunan province constructed a 10-storey residential building in 28 hours and 45 minutes. Each flat is prefabricated at their factory and then transported to the site. The building was constructed using stainless steel slabs which are designed to resist earthquakes and typhoons, according to the company.

For those who don’t know. The leading person of this part of the business called Broad absorption chiller company is the son of its chairman. Who returned to China after studying under a professor in CMU who specializes on prefabricated buildings. I actually lived in one of its sample hotels. It felt just like any other hotel too.

Imagine sleeping in your flat, trying to block out the construction sounds then when it finally stops and you get some sleep you wake up to a whole new building suddenly appearing.

Imagine ur spending the night at a friend's house and u come back to a totally different and obstructed view .

A building needs a central column which gives the expansion and compression strength during earthquakes or storms or high winds. I hope these buildings got something of that sort.
