We vote
The votes are counted in our precincts by our neighbors.
Those tallies get passed up the chain.
The losing candidate has a chance for recounts.
The losing candidate can present EVIDENCE in court that something went wrong.

I don’t want State House politicians picking winners, talk about having a horse in the race.

I much prefer people in my precinct, just doing their job, counting the votes and checking the roles.

Being opposed to abortion is not anti-democratic. A minority deciding that their religious beliefs demand that they take a woman's right to control her body away from everyone in a secular country is as anti-democratic as it gets, and there should be no room for people like that in the tent.

Whilst most people (including in the UK) are largely oblivious to this very clear and Real 'threat' to Western Democracy; I myself, am literally beginning to have nightmares!
