Here in Australia I live 3 minutes across the road from the cinemas. It’s just better at home, no expensive cinema food or tickets, and not dealing with anti social behaviour.

The last few months, I was really curious about this segment. Going out to the movies is one tier above going out to restaurants from a discretionary perspective. People have to eat even if it's more expensive food. No one has to go to a movie to live.
