You know how bad a situation is when you actually agree with a politician that you hate.

Let us all be open-minded and not favoring any administration. Real talk lang. Flood control projects by the government will be useless if we, the Filipino people, lack the discipline to follow them.

As a foreigner living in the Ph, the amount of trash people throw on the floor is saddening. But who can blame them when i see no trash cans or dumpsters anywhere.

Compare betweenPhilippines and Singapore. Discipline is the key. Kapag nagtapon ka ng ano mang basura, you will be fined. Why not implement that in the Philippines and educate Pilipino people. Ibig sabihin matigas ang ulo ng karamihan sa Pilipino.

Local Government: "Let's break down good roads as part of maintenance and spend the public's resources on covered courts, beauty pageants and SK Leagues."

Discipline is the key. Tumulong tayo sa gobyerno. Kahit sinu pa ang naka upo. Mag umpisa tayo sa sarili at sa pamilya.

Mr. President stated facts. As a citizen, we are more responsible on our community's cleanliness. D dpat iaasa lng s gobyerno lhat. Tulong-tulong dpat tau. Lesson learned🙂👍

I don’t like Marcos but dude is honestly right…sometimes the government definitely has its faults but we can’t always blame it on them on everything or rely on them to fix every problem when we also have a responsibility on making our country better and maintaining discipline. If the government does implement better ways of dispatching trash the public has to also contribute on maintaining proper discipline….if the public fails on that then there’s no one to blame but us

This is really true. People must realize also how important proper disposal is. It's not blaming it's a fact that people should accept and apply in a daily basis. Para sa kalusugan at kapakanan din ng lahat.

The critical infrastructure in Manila and Philippines has been inadequate for many years. But when will an actual politician take action and start solving these archaic issues? Trash disposal should have been resolved many years ago. How does Manila expect to secure buildings in upcoming developments built on reclaimed land (Horizon City)?

Plus all the garbage on the streets will clog any flood control measures. First clean the streets and canals from trash then implement a flood control idea then execute it. Trash cans and trash pick up would be a good start. That would also create more jobs. Recycling plants would also be great.

This is what a leader should be. A strategist, with scientific and technical approach. Backed by science and engineering know-how is a must. Throwing garbage properly is not enough. We ALL must learn to firstly REJECT, REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE what we can. UPCYCLE as much as we can. Wag na humingi ng plastic or reject it kung kaya naman bitbitin ng kamay or always always bring reusable bags all the time. Maghalf lang ang plastic use at tapon malaking bagay na para makatulong sa reduction of wastes. Philippines is now trailing in 2nd place as top plastic polluter in the world, dati pang 3rd tayo. High time to change. paradigm shift
