I first visited Bhutan in 1973 and have been back several times since, most recently a year ago. Every time I see such massive changes. In '73 Thimphu was a small village, there were no hotels and hardly any cars or roads. What is unchanging is the beauty of the nature and the warmth and friendliness of the people.

I visited Bhutan some 4 years ago. It was a study tour and we stayed there for around 8days and it costed us somewhere around 9000 rupees. I absolutely loved this country!!! I am planning a trip again at the end of 2018. When I earlier visited this place, the "Budha Dordenma" was under construction, SC was also under construction. "Tiger's Nest Monastery" was surreal. Absolutely beautiful country. Local people are very affectionate and they absolutely love Indians! They always mention that Indian government help us a lot and they actually say thank you to us when they get to know we are from India. They talk in Hindi with you! Yes they can speak Hindi. And our indian currency can be used over there so no need to convert currency. Youngsters from Bhutan come to India for higher education, so there's a very strong friendly connection that you feel over there. Lovely place. Heaven.

I have went to Bhutan last two weeks ago and spent my holiday there with my cousins .... I have visited Thimpu and Paro.... I loved the places very peaceful n no noise pollution at all😁😁... But one thing I haven't been to Punakha.... Will visit there when I go there again😊😊....
