Surprised you picked for Ford considering the press ban you received. Bravo calling it the way you think and not crying like Roman has been. My only issue with the Ford is that they don't offer push button start/proximity entry in the lower trim levels. You have to get a Lariat (with Ultimate package) or above to get it. Ram made it standard in every trim.

I make the aluminum parts for ZF, the process is high pressure die casting which is done by Gibbs diecasting in Henderson Kentucky. It's a pretty good and well made part. The quality and tolerance is tough.

Price of new trucks reminds me why I personally keep patching my pickup, and keep the chassis undercoated.

For roughly 60.00 you can get the soft open tailgate kit from a Ford dealer parts department, very easy to install, just did it on my father's Tremor XLT 7.3

I think a average buyer would be happy with both trucks, I just can’t get past the 70K price for a work truck.

Had the Ford 250 XLT got rid of it and bought the Ram 2500 Tradesman. First thing I noticed was the ride quality and handling. A world of difference. Even towing my 5th wheel was an improvement.
Ford had 2.5" squat, Ram has 1.5"
All around better truck. Glad I made the switch.
Thanks for the video! Been waiting for it. Looking forward to see the towing up the Ike video. 👍RAM👍

I chose the Ram. 2020 2500 Limited MegaCab with 4.10 rear end. Works great towing my 30' Airstream. Plenty of room with the MegaCab and GREAT ride. We love the luxury interior.

Andre, great that you actually get underneath the truck to show the differential, air suspension, etc. So much more interesting to watch! Great job! 👍

I bought a 2019 ram tradesman 2500 HD with the 6.4. Absolutely love it. With the 410 gears I yank my ten thousand pound rig up and sown 6degrees better than my last diesel did.

Those Ram interiors are pretty amazing, but I'm VERY excited for the 7.3s!!!

Andre, this was a fantastic video. As a car salesperson you have really touched on some challenges, and solutions that can really be used. Thank you for this. Great work sir!

I’ve got the Ram 2019 Power Wagon had it nearly a year 9000 miles plus done and 3000 plus of those towing my Airstream can’t fault the truck love it 👍🏻

I have a 2016 2500 ram 6.4. It's a tradesman. I love this truck. It has 36, 000 miles on it and so far nothing has happened to it. I was really interested in the 7.3 ford but they seem to be having some trouble out of them. When I drive my truck, I put it in 6th gear so the MDS doesnt kick on. I usually drive back roads, unless we are camping. I don't care for the MDS function.

I’ve owned 4 Super Duty diesels I recently purchased a 2020 F-350 dually 7.3 Godzilla engine with 3:73 gears pulling a 30’ 8000lb boat is no problem for the 7.3, I really can not give any towing mileage numbers because I’ve only towed less than 50 miles per trip. On road trips to CO from MI loaded to the max (9500 GVW) I averaged 13.5, the best mpg when I drove the 7.3 diesel stick shift truck was 14.5.
After 2 years it’s so far so good

Have been very happy with the Rams for the last 20 years. My 2017 2500 6.4 HD Hemi gets 17.5 mpg at 70-75 mph highway speeds. As for the stock tires, the Transformer AT is very soft and wears quickly. Will have the dealer switch them out next time before driving it off the lot.
Thanks for the comparison video!

Agree completely with the winner. As a mechanic of 20 years, Ford is generally more reliable, for a blue collar guy, that's the name of the game. I still drive a tundra though, don't need all the towing. Good review Andre!

Great review! Funny how stock ram exhaust is way louder than aftermarket exhaust on the ford 😂
