Main difference is ppf has compound interest.

Hi Siya, my employer is contributing 10% of my basics towards corporate NPS account of mine, which will be tax free, so what is the maximum amount which will become tax free? Eg., if 10% of basic crosses 10L is it tax free?

This is not a pension scheme, such a National Interest Paying Scheme like interest gaining on our FD. Even we have a choice to deposit in FD any bank who is giving a higher rate of interest, but in NIPS the govt compelling the individual to deposit the 40% of their savings in low interest paying org.. listed in the final exit forms. again i am saying this is not a pension scheme, . interest paying scheme. Foll the people scheme, either we say this scheme is NIPS or FTPS.😮😮😮😮😮😢😢😢

Ma'am, can I entirely fill section 80C limit (1.5L) with only EPF & ELSS and then invest 50K (in NPS) in the name of section 80CCD(1B) for additional tax benefit? i.e., is it mandatory for us to invest in 80CCD(1) to avail the benefit of 80CCD(1B)?
