I saw this in the cinema as a kid then taped it off the tv. Boy I don’t know how many times I must have watched it, one of my fav films from my childhood, maybe it’s Pryor and Candy together you just can’t beat them

Pryor and Candy are about 25% of what I miss from the 80s.

Just started watching the movie again for the millionth time and i just heard the lady in the stand say and this is at the beginning of the movie "Get back to tee ball buddy" Coming from Australia i thought what the hell does that mean. Well i looked it up and you learn something every day don't you and yes we have sport for young kids to but nothing compared to that name. What a great movie miss you so much Richard.

I’m going to try explain this to people who obviously haven’t seen the film, and just saying “it’s easy, I’d just do this...”:
He was only allowed to give away or gamble a small percentage of money, (if i remember correctly it was 10% each), due to the terms of the Will/Contract.
He was not allowed to have/own any of the purchased possessions after the thirty day period, due to the terms of the Will/Contract.
He could only hire people, if he could get value for their services, due to the terms of the Will/Contract.
He could not destroy anything that is inherently valuable that he purchased, due to the terms of the Will/Contract.
Plus he had the law firm that his relative dealt with, considering their own affairs, rather than his.

Think you could do as well, in that day and age?...

RIchard Pryor's best work in film. If you haven't seen this movie go out of your way to watch it.

Now imagine how awkward it would have been with Brewster having to tell the bank about why he had to spend his millions, and now tell them he'd like to get interest on that money every month. It was pretty scummy of the bank owner to agree to not giving Brewster any interest on his money.

The easy way I came up with spending 30 million dollars is towards Niagara Falls New York College education paying their tuitions. Even I think paying someone's medical school education is most important so many men and women want to work hard becoming doctors, paramedics, and surgeons.

I don't understand how this trailer had the current $20 bills that weren't designed until 2003????
