Fort Myers, Florida, which is about 80 miles south of where Hurricane Milton made landfall, suffered major flooding caused by Milton's powerful storm surge. CBS News' Nicole Valdes shows the extent of the damage.

I think CBS News is searching for drama… Not to undermine the damage done but it's nothing compared to Ian. I have a condo down there and my friend says it's not too bad. Most of the damage occurred much further north in Sarasota.

Oh god (gods) please help those who weren’t killed by the hurricane you sent to Florida. Also god, please don’t let Trump be president again as he has suggested using nuclear weapons to stop hurricanes and that would be very bad as most of Florida would be uninhabitable due to radioactive fallout.

But just in case here’s my advance prayer request to clean-up all radioactive fallout from such efforts. OR don’t let it happen in the first place. Come on god, just because Eve ate a “forbidden” apple?
