I've heard the cost of life in Portugal had increased a lot because for several reasons. Actually, after the pandemic, that increased around the world. I was told also that the food in Portugal is really "close" to nature than to a industrial plant...local producers, local open markets, etc...

We do not eat cereals in Turkey We prefer eating eggs, olives, tomatoes, honey, tahini, ... So we would ve shocked if we were in US
