Police in Suffolk County will soon hand out vouchers for free repairs when they stop drivers with broken car lights. As CBS2's Carolyn Gusoff reports, the pilot program is already in a dozen states around the nation.

I don't agree with this simply put if you can't afford to maintain your vehicle maybe you should not be Operating and owning that vehicle

The police still have to _make contact_ with the individual before they give him/her the voucher. How about you let people with financial hardships apply for your voucher on their own terms, instead of sending the police out on a mission to harass everyone with a burnt out taillight 🙄
