First cruise on May 12th.
They sent me my room assignment and it was room 1263 on the Carnival Pride. Lowest level and the very last cabin next to the galley and the elevators in the bottom of the ship. I called and they were able to find me another room in a quieter part and a higher level and no extra charge. Carnival is very pleasant and accommodating to deal with as far as the customer service is concerned. We'll see how the actual cruise is. But if it's anything like the customer service that I've had, it'll be phenomenal.

Huge issue with all or most cruise lines is that if 1 is a drinker both still have to buy the package. In fact all adults in the cabin have to buy it. It can be EXTREMELY expensive.

Tip #4 The Drink Package. I get it every time! Yeah, Imma drink several vodka-cranberries at night. I also drink the specialty coffees, virgin slushy drinks when it's hot, maybe a glass of wine with dinner, maybe a beer on the pool deck. I get bottled waters a couple times a day. I don't usually drink sodas (but they're included). And you can get real juice! Not the fruit-flavored kool aid at the buffet! I always intend to get a milkshake, but I never do.
