Yes well let us not mention the number of species which are endemic to the Galápagos Islands. (They don't live anywhere else in the world)

I know this was an accident, but we are hurting our planet. And imagine how many fish were killed from this.

One like equals (hopefully) one fish saved,

you can name the fish in the comments if you want too. I’m naming my “saved” fish after my grandmas cat, Yoshi. He died 2 years ago, I loved him so much. 😪

Things money will not fix. Write that check for $100, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, but the damage is priceless .

Why are oil spills so common? Isn’t this something that people in the industry know how to prevent? I know if I carry a huge stack of dishes, I can expect to drop a couple, so it makes sense that I wouldn’t even try to do that. If you transport oil for a living, don’t you know how to do it the right way? Wouldn’t that be the first thing you’re taught when learning the job? I would ask, “so, yeah, it’s my first day and all, and I’m wondering what I can do to avoid having an oil spill because that’s the biggest question I have right now.”

This is exactly why we don’t deserve to go to mars. It would be a trash heap within five years.

Hope everyone is okay. The operator stayed in the cab and looked unconscious after the first hit. Smh

600 gallons... not a big story here. 6 hundred gallons isn't much at all.

What happened to the crane operator, you could see his legs when the crane flipped over.
