The government employees of Himachal Pradesh have not received their salaries this month. For the first time in the history of Himachal Pradesh 2 lakh employees and 1.5 lakh pensioners have been refused their income. The shocking turn of events follows a financal crisis that the Congress ruled state. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu had announced just days ago that the Cabinet Ministers will forego salaries for the next two months.

The crisis in Himachal Pradesh has rocked the Congress government and the Opposition has submitted a memorandum with the governor Shiv Pratap Shukla to intervene. Under debt of Rs 10,000 crore, the Himachal government's freebie politics is finally stating to hurt the state and its people.
