one of my favorite dramas ever. maybe not for everyone, but this is the only kdrama that feels so real. like the kind of love stories we need to hear. this is a love story between a couple that tries to love one another through the toxicity of modern society. each character was so flawed and human that there could almost never be any true villain in this story. though it isn't perfect, this was the kind of story that i needed and the kind of love i want to experience.

I really like how the female character is. She is so relatable it’s amazing. None of the usual obedient grownup daughter to over demanding parents stuff like in “something in the rain”. She actually stands up and says things logically when her parents a unreasonable, and anyone else for that matter. It was written so realistically I was amazed.

This is one of the best k-dramas I've ever watched. And I have watched at least a hundred! Great chemistry between the lead couple, amazing character development. A very poetic and beautiful way to portray many complex parts of finding love. It rarely felt cliché. So many strong, unique female roles and the whole cast gets to shine! It also has a very sentimental and melancholic tone all over it, so even the happier moments feel deeper and more meaningful. Wow. This just pulls your heartstrings and moves you deeply. 10/10

As someone who has watched Something in the Rain and One Spring Night, I can say that the chemistry is better in this one even if the couple doesn’t get together as soon. There are too many beautiful scenes in this one.

I havent found the songs yet, so Im not sure this is right. I also read that the songs might not be released yet so we have to wait for the OST. The Yamagata artist makes sense though, she was featured in the OST for Something in the rain which is from the same director...

Just finished this in 2 days. What a beautiful story about love and family relationships. Han Jimin and Jung Haein have amazing chemistry and portray their characters’ emotions rly well. The relationship between the 3 sisters was also lovely. This story rly encapsulates the struggle one must go thru to be with the one they love.

I loved this kdrama so much I've already watched it 3 times! It is similar to "Something in the Rain" in the sense that it tackles taboos in Korean society and both share a certain 'feel' to it bec it was helmed by the same director. But "One Spring Night", for me, was the one that really explored the depth and complexities of the 2 main leads' characters and emotions. It showed how people are flawed and struggle with their feelings, how love can be both beautiful and messy at the same time, and that if you really love someone, you have to protect and fight for that love. ❤

Jung Hae In & Han Ji Min did an excellent job. It's my 1st time watching HJM and I thought she was great in every scene. Plus I love that her character is strong and protective of the people she loves. And as for JHI, I really commend him for giving us a Yu Ji-ho that's totally different from SITR's Seo Jun-hi -- from looks, to demeanor, intonation, and manner of speaking. If I didn't know from the start that it was the same actor, I wouldn't have easily figured it out. He was THAT good! I loved the small nuances, like how he changes intonation when he's speaking to his son, or the way he looked at her while she was talking to his son on the phone. He's a truly gifted actor!

I also loved the dynamics btwn the Lee sisters and how they loved and supported each other.

The conclusion was satisfying in the sense that it didn't feel rushed and all the issues were addressed.

I love💯 and highly recommend this kdrama. ❤

(Sorry for comparing the 2 dramas. I loved SITR too & I've also seen it 3 times.)

I’m on episode 8 and omfg I freaking love it. This drama is so simple... kinda slow but I’m liking it. The camera stays on one person for 10 seconds just showing their face and emotions in silence hahah and the soundtrack is awesome. I’m liking it so so so much
