Gov’t to conduct livestock vaccination in the pastoral counties

The government in collaboration with county governments is planning to conduct a national vaccination exercise in the pastoral counties by January next year. Speaking after attending the 2nd edition of Maa cultural celebration in the Archers post area, Samburu County, President William Ruto said the vaccination will target 22 million cattle and 50 million herds of sheep and goats. As Timothy Kipnusu now reports the the Head of state also promised to deal with the insecurity challenge in the counties affected.
