There is a new technology that makes internal combustion engines, jet engines, and rockets obsolete. Scientifically sound, safe, and easy to build cheaply.
Petroleum will not be burned and release carbon emissions into the environment anymore.
Petroleum will be used for other products that lock the carbon from escaping into the atmosphere.
