Growing up in West Philly and playing in the High School Band...all I thoroughly remember was the un-cut syncopated funk of CT and DG in the rhythm section and the splindiference of Mick Gillette's brass versatility. That dag blame Doc was a marcato I would finish listening to the TOWER and I got older...I in the POWER had to go to doctor's office get some of that funk out of their bodies....because...it was Infested funk!..I guess you can tell....LOVED THE MUSICAL GENIUS

David and Francis funky rhythm is truly unique. I can't imagine TOP without the duo's brand of funk. You could replace just about any other member of TOP and would never notice who's missing except for this duo. It's the TOP trademark if I may say. They are all world class players but the distinction definitely belongs to Francis driven by a tight rhythm by David. I've watched them 4 times here in Las Vegas in a span of 12 years and these guys never fail to shake the funk in me. Just amazing.
