We should call it Resurrection instead of Easter, as all Orthodox Christians(i am an Orthodox Christian) call it - because then the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is celebrated and it is by far the greatest Christian holiday!!!

Rare mar mari L. Easter is derived from a month name. It's not a celebration. Yes, that month name was pagan, but by that the logic, the GREGORIAN calender is pagan for using months like January, March, June, etc. I use both terms, but realistically, germanics (all northern europeans) and their descendants should use easter without any issue as the month was theirs.

Eostre comes from the name of a month in old English, eostremonath which was named after a goddess, eostre. If easter is Pagan, then Good Friday is also a pagan name, and Christians are worshipping Freya. If Easter is pagan, then Ash Wednesday is also a pagan name and Christians are worshipping Freya.

You do realise that Mary is Easter? Astara or Ishtar is where the word Easter comes from, that’s her other names, she has come in many forms, we have forgot. Imagine this, Jesus is Adam and Mary is Eve lol so she’s given birth to him and loved him in past lives. Because Christianity was literally designed to combat Paganism? Even the holy Trinity is completely a Pagan idea. So yes if you believe that Jesus is God you are actually practicing a Pagan belief, not a christian.
