Grace is a 3rd (practically 4th) year pharmacy student at our program. We answer some common questions asked about pharmacy school!

I didn't even know you can work during pharmacy school! I just assumed all medical/dental/pharm students were always in their books and didn't have time to take on even a part time job. Now as a med student, the extra hours I do have im taking care of myself (hair care, laundry, cleaning). there is no free time

I'll put pharmacy university on my wish list of universities. In my country you can apply 10 universities you want to enroll so I'll put pharmacy, medicine, dental medicine, speech therapy, rehabilitation education(though I'm not really thinking that much about it anymore). In my city's pharm school only 30 people can get in, which is ridicilous. The same goes for dental med school. A lot more people can get into med school. And there is only one university for speech therapy in my country. Turns out schools that have little number of spots educate people that are more needed (pharmacysts, speech therapysts and perhaps dentists-3 are wanted in my town alone)than econimsts whose number each year on universities gets bigger and bigger, so that if you become economist you can be sure you won't get job easily.

OSCE is objective structured clinical examination; That's amazing Pharmacy students get to do this too. I've only ever heard about OSCE being taught in med school.

I’m an upcoming pharmacy student. We have our white coat ceremony first year, and then we have a pinning ceremony after completely 3rd year.

med chem is so HARD at my school we start off with it during first year and it continues throughout each PDAT

I found 3rd year pretty intense because we did CNS and Cardio. Good times though!
