the garlic skin covered what was actually already peeled lol noticed theres a cut in the video.

I get it, but still, if you watch the tutorial, you’re using to wrong knife and you’re not really smashing the garlic properly. It needs to be a much harder whack. If you can’t whack it properly, place your knife over the head of the clove and press down slowly using your body weight until you hear the garlic crack and then the individual cloves will become separated.
