That makes sense. What about the + and - that go to the vehicle (for ones lights and charging) from the battery bank? Does that go on the same + and - terminals from the RV? + on batter A and - on battery B

i setup my 6v batteries like shown here and they caused my engine battery to burn the positive terminal. I have to replace the battery and cable. I didn't think the 6v batteries and engine battery touched at all. What could've have caused this?
