I worked for Cinnabon. we had a fan at the back of the ovens that blew that smell every time we opened the ovens. It drew people from all around the mall.

Disney DOES crank up their AC too high, but not just in stores, but also on rides. I get sick from sweating and sweltering in the Florida heat and then walking indoors at Disney World

Ha! Joke's on you, the employee messed up the popcorn and everyone just smelled smoke and burnt popcorn kernels while speedwalking away.

frfr I remember I went there with my family when I was younger and I could smell cotten candy or like a sweet smell. The candy shop was actually quite far. It made my sis beg at my parents to buy the candy and ofc we bought it along with a BIG bucket of pop corn.

They actually keep it cooler in the stores so you stay inside the store longer to escape the heat. The longer you stay in the store, the more likely you are to buy things, and buy more things.

Also, glad to know the popcorn trick wouldn't work on me.

ALWAYS eat a full meal before you enter the parks. Don't get me wrong the food is good but all of it is beyond overpriced, (think overbloated state fair prices then double or triple it). Unless there is something you heard about that's unique at the parks and you really want to try it, I suggest not eating there at all. They are required by Florida law to have water fountains, use them for drinks and leave it at that.

Hershey park hides a crockpot of melted chocolate on their ride and it’s smells amazing, once off the ride it opens into the chocolate shop. They’ve done it for decades. Many corporate shops do this….it’s not just Disney

They also have fans located around the themeparks that project certain smells that link to the theme of that certain area (like saltwater and sugar, sweet enticing smells, etc) that make you feel more *there* in person!

Disney is known for their smells! It’s my favorite part of Disney myself! I would give all my money to Disney if they sold candles with the same scents as the parks!!

Actually, we’ve been working on movie theaters for years. The fan is actually to remove the moisture from the popcorn machine. Steam is generated during the popping process. If you don’t have the fan in the machine, it will literally steam the popcorn and therefore yield chewy popcorn. It certainly does smell delicious, but that’s not the core purpose of the fan.

Disney is amazing, I had so many great memories from visiting their parks and watching their films
