Lowrance | How to use Genesis Live on HOOK Reveal

Genesis Live delivers real-time charting for the ultimate in up-to-date situational awareness. Using digital depth to create contour overlays on your C-MAP chart, Genesis Live is incredibly easy to use. A truly customised mapping experience, users can control contour transparency, density of contours drawn on the screen up to ½ foot intervals, depth shading colour palettes, and more. Genesis Live charts can also be saved to an SD card for continued use.

This feature is now available in the HOOK Reveal family of products.

The SD card slot isn't spring loaded on my 7TS unit like most other devices that use micro SD cards. I have to use tweezers to get the card out for updating. Are other Reveal units like this?

I have the Hook Reveal 5x55 but the micro SD cards I have don't seem to fit. I feel like I'm trying to put a square peg through a round hole. What's going on?

Does genesis live only work where you have a cmap for? Im on coast in sc with an inland version of reveal. The navionics map is a little better then cmap but still no contours.

I just bought a Lowrance Elite Ti2 9´ and I try to create a contour map, with genesis live, I don't have a map card, so I put a blank micro sd card, but when I put the genesis live, it does not generate the map in real time, it only stays on the base map, nothing appears, someone knows how to solve this. I have updated my fishfinder with the latest version.
