That doesn’t answer it still because if you ask the honest guard “what would the other guard say?” He’d say The guard would pick his, if you ask the lying guard the same question he’ll point to the honest guys door BUT YOU STILL DONT KNOW WHO IS BEING HONEST

Here's the question that no one is proposing...all you have to do is ask one of the guards something like "how old am I?", or "is an alligator a reptile?" So if the guard answers correctly, you know that's the door to heaven, and if they answer incorrect, you know that's the door to hell. Cause if it's all about one lying and one telling the truth, that's all you have to figure out. So you don't have to ask any questions pertaining to heaven or hell.

if you know the truthful one guards heaven you just ask a factual question. the hard riddle is when you dont know who guards which door

Wouldn't the liar point to the door opposite of the door the truth teller is posting to? Isn't that still paradoxical?

It wasn't specified that the question had to be about which one is hell, so my first guess was "which door is for reincarnation/going back on earth", the heaven guard should say "none" and the hell guard should pick any. This assuming that the liar guards hell but yeah he does, it was in the rules

I don’t see how this could work because if you ask the devil that first he knows the angel has to tell the truth and point to the door to hell and since he lies he would point towards the opposite door which is heaven.

Person: What would the other guard say if I asked him for the door to hell?
Truthful Guard: Picks left (The lying guard will pick heaven, to trick you to going to hell.)
Lying guard: (The truthful guy will pick left, because I will definitely say that hell is heaven, so I will lie about my answer and pick hell itself.) Picks right.

Truthful Guard: (The lying guard will pick heaven, and trick the man to put him to hell. ) Picks left.

HOWEVER if the riddle in the video didn't state that the one who always tells the truth leads to the heaven door then thats where the REAL problem starts. I mean its possible for the one who always tells the truth guard the hell's door in this case.

We ask one of the guards what door will he point to if i ask whats the door to heaven and
if he is right that means that he was the truth one and you know wich door to go to but if you asked the lie guard that question you will find out when
you ask the truth one and he dosent point to the door the other guard told you

Where should the other guard point to heaven : the guard of hell will point to his door because he lies while the guard of heaven will also point to doors of hell because he is saying the truth that what his partner will say

Why the hell are you all assuming that the liar guards the entrance to hell and the truthful is guarding the entrance to heaven?
