Could living in Grovetown Georgia be the right move for you? Well that depends. It's a pretty sleep town and there wasn't a whole lot going on there until the last few years. One of Augusta Georgia's best suburbs, Grovetown has a population of just over 15,000 people. which is about triple what it had just 20 years ago.

Mainly for 2 reasons. First it's proximity to Evans Georgia. The best suburb of Augusta and voted the #1 "Best Place To Live In America" by Money magazine in 2020. As Evans continues to grow in population and cost, people looking for more affordability and space are making their way to Grovetown.

The other reason and potentially the primary reason is Grovetown's proximity to Fort Gordon. It's only about 2 miles from Fort Gordon. Which is now home to the US Army Cyber Command headquarters. That move was complete in 202 and brought with it over 1,200 great jobs to the area and many new residents. Grovetown is a great option with affordable housing and some great schools right down the road from the base.

As in ex resident of groveganstan it's perfect place live if u have Financial stability but as a young person I do not recommend the school system there's not much to do there's a lackluster of employment opportunities unless you genuinely try your hardest but even then it's not enough

These houses are flimsy and made no better than a double wide.
My house is brick and built in 1970 and is the first home ever built in Goshen Plantation.

Lived around Augusta most of my life. Worked in "downtown" Grovetown over a decade ago. It was literally nothing but a giant trailer park. They've really cleaned it up. But the traffic is terrible.
