Mam for scant method u used Newton raphson method but some books used Regula-Falsi method why it is

In secant method and regula-falsi method there is only difference is that in regula-falsi method f(a)f(b) or like u have taken f(i)f(i-1) <0 but why in ur videos they seems so different???
