Had a science teacher lean against the wall and asked everyone what he was doing. For 30 minutes, we said everything we could think of. Finally, he said I am moving in 9 directions. He explained it all and blew our minds.

It also gets more weirder as the sun orbits Sagittarius A* (the supermassive black hole at the centre of the Milky way) so it makes the earth's orbit pretty wacky

When I was a little kid I noticed some stars weren't 'in the same place' as before. Sometimes when I looked up, the stars would be shifted 'a little to the left' or overall 'out of place' from the last time I saw them.

I asked my parents about this, but they just laughed and said that those stars were always there. I got so mad they didn't understand.

But now that Im older, I always suspected that the reason was something like this, tied to the Earth's orbiting not being perfect. So glad to finally see it being explained here by mr. Tyson.

I notice something with sunrise. Early morning, i notice the sun rises a few degrees off from where it usually rose from last month. Using land markers, signs, shadows, and whatnot. It was nice to observe the changes
